About

I build Android apps with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Clean Architecture. For the last five years I've led Android development of the flight booking app for All Nippon Airways, Japan's largest airline. Before that, I built in-car infotainment apps for FCA.

I care about apps that stay fast and reliable, codebases that new engineers can understand, and teams that grow. I was promoted twice in under three years for technical leadership and delivery.

   • Lead Android development of the All Nippon Airways flight booking app, owning architecture decisions and technical delivery for the Android team.
   • Built core journeys in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose: Flight Search, Online Check-in and Passenger Guide.
   • Defined the app's architecture with Clean Architecture, MVVM, Coroutines and Flow, Hilt and Retrofit.
   • Improved code quality through test-driven development and unit and UI testing.
   • Earned multiple client appreciation awards from ANA for high-quality delivery and quick resolution of production issues.
   • Set code-review standards and mentored engineers.

2. Software Engineer

   Mar 2018 – Jun 2021

   Quest Global, Trivandrum

   • Developed Android-based Human Machine Interface apps for FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) in-car infotainment systems.
   • Delivered a Panasonic HMI proof of concept that the client recognised for innovation and technical excellence.
   • Analysed and fixed production defects to automotive software quality standards.
   • Worked in globally distributed Agile teams; ran code reviews and mentored junior developers.
